On Wednesday, we did science. We learnt about the Big Bang Theory. Now personally, I do not believe in this but I will tell you what I learnt anyway. It all started roughly 13.8 billion years ago when a force called dark matter was trying to pull a white singularity apart. When it did it caused a huge explosion that made the universe. Then protons and neutrons combined and turned into atoms. Over millions of years, the atoms formed planets, stars, asteroids, comets and meteors.
The first scientist to believe in such a theory was Georges Lemaître in 1927. He believed that the universe was made from this. He thought the universe was still expanding and it would never stop!
This is what I learned about the Big Bang Theory.
